VIP Day at Triton Elementary
Our class enjoyed a nice afternoon with grandparents, friends, and relatives during VIP this year! I want to thank everyone for taking time to come join us for a special time and I hope that you had fun with your young star! Visitors that arrived early helped with a reading test before going to lunch. Everyone enjoyed a nice meal together before going to recess, and then we returned to our classroom. Students interviewed their VIP with M & M's and VIP's interviewed students before eating their chocolates. We shared some of our interesting responses, and then did a small example of an engineering challenge with our groups. Families tired to create a book stand for the book fair that would be strong enough to hold our reading book. We had four structures that were strong enough, but everyone had fun building and learned that sometimes we can improve on a design to make it successful! Thank you for joining us!
